I purchased this set for $16, opposed to $6 for the set without the caddy, because it includes a caddy. Essentially paying $10 for the caddy. Unfortunately, the openings in the caddy are too large for the shakers and the shakers fall sideways each time you pick the caddy up. Seems like a mismatch. Both products seem fine individually, just mismatched. I returned this set and will look for another set with a caddy that holds the shakers in place better.

I bought these to keep on the table on the deck in front of my houseboat, at a covered dock. In less than 2 weeks, the salt is so caked up that it will not shake out at all. That’s even with rice added to help control the moisture in the salt. Pretty much makes the salt shaker worthless for me. And I echo the comment of a previous reviewer. The shaker diameter is much smaller than the caddy opening, so obviously the caddy was not designed for these shakers.

These were on our table since I was 5 yrs old. We could only get them @ Stuckeys(a roadside SOUVENIER SHOP) I was pleased to find them on Amazon.. I gave them to my Grandson as a gift for his new home. He was delited. They will be used at the pool side, because they keep the moisture out.

Exactly as described and easy to useI have added a few grains of rice in the salt shaker. Why? Because my mother (and grandmas and great grandmas) did. I also love the caddy! It keeps the set together for easy passing. It will help the kids to remember to always pass them together since Mrs Salt and Mr Pepper are married.

PERFECT FOR OUR RV. When making our dinner out on the grill I’m grabbing things from the RV and this works better than any shakers we’ve ever had. So convienant. And the salt and pepper no longer clump together in the shakers!

I absolutely love these shakers. We used some at a beach condo a couple weeks ago, and I had to have them. The salt never once got moisture in it. They were packaged very, very well too so not to break. I am very happy with this purchase!

These salt and pepper shaker covers were very awkward to use. I got rid of them shortly after using them for just a little while.

These shakers are a great size and seem to be well made. The lids with spring loaded covers are an excellent feature. We are using them for sugar and cinnamon.
