My Betta nearly does flips when I pick up the jar to feed him... think he really likes it! Makes me happy to feed him something so natural and true to what he'd eat in the wild.The only issues I had are: some pieces are too big so I cut them up, whatever isn't eaten dissolves and makes the water get murky after only a few days, and he can't seem to eat it until it softens...sometimes i soak it in water for a min before putting it in the tank.Otherwise, this stuff is great! He's had more energy since i switched from the cheap food i used to get at the pet store.

In one tank, I have a very large rainbow fish, and a very large gurami. In my other smaller tank, I have several tiny neon tetras and zebra tetras. All species absolutely go BONKERS whenever I feed them these. I start with some flake food, then end their feedings with these freeze dried shrimp pieces. My rainbow fish practically jumps out of the water to get to these special treats. Same with the tetras. They swarm! Very easy to crumble and break down in your hand. This food does not cloud up the water, but there are some smaller dust particles in the container. I just avoid those and let them sink to the bottom of the container. Would highly recommend for all freshwater tropical fish. They love it.

Don’t like the way it basically crumbles into a powder.

When it comes its not cubes its powder my big oscars need cubes other then it being a small bottle the product seems fine little fish love it its expensive

I think that the picture is deceiving, and makes you think you are getting a bigger jar then what you are. The jar is really tiny. Its like 5 inches tall. I mean who really knows how much dehydrated brine shrimp would weigh, right? I feel that this food was WAY overpriced. I gave 5 stars for the fast shipping but one star for value.

My African cichlids love this product, they just go crazy. When I opened the jar it was fresh when I squeezed. A few pinches from the cube goes a long way. Don’t add to much at one time, it may affect your water quality if not eaten quickly.

It took my fishes a couple of feedings to figure out what this is. Once they figured out what to do with these, they really love it. A little goes a long way. I have a large angel fish and a few gourami

Must have been old stock, was extremely dry , brittle .
