Pros:+ very inexpensive,+ fits 2019 iPad mini 5 very well,+ protects back from scratches,+ raised lip around screen and around camera provide some protectionCons:- Doesn't protect the front and not compatible with Apple Smart Cover (or inexpensive Smart Cover knockoff).- TPU already yellowing right out of the package - to see this, hold over a white piece of paper (like in the attached photo). I've had other transparent TPU cases that turned yellow after 6 to 12 months of use, but never right out of the package.- Back of case is slippy not grippy. This is a matter of personal preference, but I would prefer something that's a bit grippier.This back cover might be right for you, but it's not for me and I regret the purchase. But it's too cheap to return, my net refund after return shipping would be $1 or so and it's just not worth the trouble to repackage it and take it to the P.O., so it'll go in the recycle bin.Meantime, I'm on the lookout for a transparent back cover that's not yellowing right away and that's compatible with the Smart Cover, so I can have full front and back protection.

I bought this for my iPad Mini 5. All the cutouts seem to line up like they should. I was hesitant to buy at first because I was thinking perhaps it was a Mini 4 case that was relabeled. That doesn’t seem to be the case. This case does not interfere with my glass screen protector I have installed. My case was shipped to me on time. I would buy it again.

I bought a new iPad Mini 5 and was looking for a case that would offer some protection against drops or the iPad being laid face down, without adding a lot of weight, that has precise cutouts and was flexible (but still well-fitting), making it easier to get it on and off when needed. This case fit the bill and is a good value. The only thing I would wish for is for is a color-tinted option, rather than only clear, so that it wouldn’t show dirt as much. But that’s not specific to this case, it seems that’s simply no longer an option being offered for any of the gel cases anymore, which is disappointing since it necessitates cleaning the case more often, and it’s nice to have a bit of color.

This case does provide some protection to the iPad mini 5, but the openings in the back are extremely off center.I purchased this case based on the positive reviews it has so far, I’m currently reevaluating how trustworthy Amazon’s reviews are, it seems that some items try to inflate their ratings with fake reviews.I’ll keep trying to purchase a case that wasn’t rushed to market.

Nice, well fitting, minimalist, comfortable, cover for my new 2019 mini. It fits snugly, it looks nice. Clear over a space gray mini. All the buttons and cutouts are aligned and work. The mini is nicer to hold with this cover than bare and slick. It’s actually more comfortable than my prior favorite, the black rubber finish air jacket, which they don’t make for the new mini. Only downside compared to the air jacket is about an added ounce of weight which is noticeable, but not too bad.

I just purchased an iPad mini 5 and wanted a simple, clear case for it. I specifically ordered one not for the hinged smart case. I received a nice package on time. Once received, I opened a nicely sealed package to find the most horrid notches cut out as if someone tried to make this case fit with a pair of scissors. I hope this is a bad case of someone screwing up and sending it back but I was the recipient of this legitimately packaged monstrosity . Unfortunately, it is going to look like I was the one who tried to modify this case to fit a smart case. I hope this is not the way they usually operate but this is terrible. I might eat $10 but this is unacceptable. I just wish I could have identified this issue before tearing open the package so I could prove this. Sorry to the Amazon vendor who endures this poor rating but I received a dud.EDIT- 5 stars now. Why? The intended product is as advertised. Precise fit, buttons work well, clean slim profile, good protection, and improved grip. It is exactly what I wanted. Additionally, the seller took my claim seriously and made it right. No questions asked - just fixed the issue. I appreciate how they handled this situation when all signs would point to me as the culprit who cut up this product then tried to return it. I will confidently purchase from this seller again and recommend this product. Thank you, XinDing team.

It does what would be expected for a cheap protector but one annoyance is the power button is hard to activate with the case on.

I tried a few cases from other sellers and they did not fit well on my iPad. The cutouts were not lining up. This case however fit beautifully. All openings were in the right place. Thanks. Recommended.
