Short average life.
Some dimmers don't play well with LEDs. But we have dimmers for our bulbs and the dimmers work fine over the full range of illumination.I think we are not getting the advertised average life from our bulbs. We have to change them fairly often.

Don’t last very long
I’ve had 12 of these installed and at least 4 or 5 of them started to flicker occasionally and needed to be replaced. I’d look for another brand.

Not dimmable, not really
these dim maybe 20% so if you have bunch of older lights these ones will stand out when the rest are dimmed.

2700k so much nicer indoors!
At first I ordered the 3500k 60 degree led version to replace my 60W 1070 lumen halogen bulbs, but that was awful in the dining area, such an angry color! I assumed since halogens are around 3300k, 3500k was the way to go, but I was wrong, or the info about the color temp of halogen bulbs was. I then ordered the 2700k color, perfect match to what I had, and a tad brighter at 20 percent of the power!I did have to replace my dimmers with LED compatible Lutron AYCL-153P-WH, which are even listed on the bulb box as compatible (although I have three of these bulbs on that dimmer and notice a slight buzz which annoys me since I followed Satco's recommendations and there bulbs still buzz).For those that are considering switching to LED's don't skip on the dimmer compatibility or you can't dim very far, and I'm pretty sure it significantly shortens the life of the bulbs.As for the 3500k versions, they are outside now where they are a better fit.

Very Satisfied
Ordered a Satco S9420 6-pack a year ago to install as my halogens burned-out. All bulbs are now in & working properly and I am ordering a second batch.Comparison with my old halogens: Light color temp - I cannot tell the difference with the halogens (using the 2700K). Many other LED PAR30 are designed with visible bulbs when the light is off (which I hate), but these are not distinguishable from my halogens. Another review mentioned buzzing...I am not having this problem at all.Don't forget to choose between the 40-degree spread & 60-degree flood. I'll pay a bit more for Satco, because good light is important to me.

Dimmable, but not very much
Color and brightness are good - similar to the halogens. They dim, but not very much. I would buy them again, but only for nondimming applications.

These lights work well in our family room, but I can hardly stand listening to the buzzing sound that is emitted from the lights the minute they go on. I wish we had never purchased them.
